The show starts out with a quick overview of what is going to be discussed.  Then I play a promo for the Anomaly podcast with Angela and Jen-

Then we talk about what’s going on around Rick’s House–
I got some new glasses, and I share about how that happened.  Here is what they look like.

My honors English teacher found me all these years later.  Find out what happened.

The other night Farm Town on Face Book was down.  So I did a little segement I call “Six reasons you may be addicted to Farm Town”  check out the Youtube video that goes along with it here:

I then play a promo from my friend Med’s podcast called Waffle on.  A brand new episode just came out!

James 3
13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. 15 For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. 16 For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.

17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

I then ask for help in supporting the podcast and share the statistics of last month.  Want to help?  visit and click on donate, or subscribe to our newsletter.  Thanks!  We love feedback email us please!

I then play some promos from my friends Kenny and Rico.  Kenny’s  podcast is and Rico’s is

I then talk about the subject of surviving churchianity- a very important conversation is had with Jen and Dave from Texas.  They share their heart concerning being hurt in church, and how that has effected their relationship with God.   Together we talk about how important it is to have a personal relationship with Jesus.  Then we talk about sharing our faith in the workplace and what it means to us.

Church may be a place we go to on a Sunday morning, but just because you go to church doesn’t make you a believer in Christ.  Come listen to what Amy and I, and our friends think about serving God.

I then play a song I wrote called “Take Me Higher”  you can download it here

You take me higher
by Rick Moyer
Faith is like climbing a mountain
I  never know what’s up there till I  climb
step after step I go on, give it my best try
You take me higher than I’ve ever been before
Faith is like swimming in the ocean
I never know how far I can travel
Stroke after stroke you keep me high and dry
You take me higher than I’ve ever been before
Faith is like flying through the air waves
Reaching the outer atmosphere
farther and farther you pull me up with you
If I only believe in you.
You take me higher than I’ve ever been before

It’s the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of unseen.
You take me higher than I’ve ever been before

Next week:  Destroying Depression –  Have you or anyone else you know ever suffered from Depression?  Find out by taking a simple little test and then listening to some great information about overcoming depression biblically.  Good stuff!
